Code of Conduct
Section 1: Purpose
This Code of Conduct ensures that all members of the UKKS adhere to the highest standards of behavior and promotes a positive and respectful environment for all martial artists within the organization.
Section 2: Respect and Integrity
Members shall treat all individuals respectfully and courteously, regardless of rank, age, gender, ethnicity, religion, or background.
Members shall demonstrate honesty and integrity in all interactions and communications.
Section 3: Professionalism
Members shall maintain high professionalism in their conduct, both within and outside the dojo.
Members shall wear the appropriate uniform and display proper etiquette during training, events, and examinations.
Section 4: Commitment to Martial Arts Excellence
Members shall strive to improve their martial arts skills and knowledge continuously.
Members shall actively participate in training, seminars, and UKKS events to enhance their development.
Section 5: Safety and Well-being
Members shall prioritize their safety and well-being and that of others during training and events.
Members shall follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by instructors and UKKS officials.
Section 6: Ethical Behavior
Members shall uphold the principles of fairness, justice, and transparency in all dealings.
Members shall avoid any form of misconduct, including cheating, dishonesty, or any behavior that could harm the reputation of the UKKS.
Section 7: Conflict Resolution
Members shall address conflicts and disputes respectfully and constructively.
Members shall seek to resolve issues through appropriate channels within the UKKS, avoiding public confrontations or disparaging remarks.
Section 8: Confidentiality
Members shall respect the confidentiality of UKKS information and communications.
Members shall not disclose any sensitive or proprietary information without proper authorization.
Section 9: Representation of the UKKS
Members shall always represent the UKKS with dignity and respect.
Members shall promote the positive values and principles of the UKKS in all their interactions and activities.
Section 10: Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Members shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Members shall report any violations of the Code of Conduct or other misconduct to the appropriate UKKS board members.
Section 11: Disciplinary Actions
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.
The UKKS board members shall review and determine the appropriate actions for any reported violations.
Section 12: Acknowledgment
All members shall acknowledge and agree to abide by the UKKS Code of Conduct upon joining the organization and upon membership renewal.
By adhering to this Code of Conduct, members of the UKKS contribute to a respectful, safe, and supportive martial arts community, fostering the growth and development of all practitioners.
